I still can't believe what happened on the Night of the Dead. I'm just glad Charles is no longer talking about it, it all sounds so frightening! I wonder what that person was thinking...hopefully they have the good sense not to do such a thing again.

It's getting colder now...some days it feels like it might actually start snowing. Ashford is spending more and more time inside now, always looking for someone to curl up next to. Father seems to be his favorite lately, and I think Charles is a bit jealous.
