Why isn't anything working?! I've tried so hard to make things as easy as possible for him, so many different methods...he still acts out, he still can't cast even the simplest spells or read the simplest of runes, the other children mock him and that makes it worse...Dragons, what am I going to do with this child? I know it's not my fault, the other children are doing beautifully. But Adair...somehow all my worth as a teacher is tied up in him. I have to save him, I have to get through to him...

Ah...such a long day. I can't remember the last time I felt this tired. The children are a bit restless these days, they'd rather be outside in the warmth than in a classroom! But a lot of them are using their time outdoors to practice their spells, at least...
